Oils removed from new carbon oilseed crops are the basis for the renewable fuels that can replace petroleum diesel as well as creating the means for local food production. These oils are converted to renewable diesel, can be sold into high-value food-grade markets, or can be converted to bio-heat or renewable electricity.
